“A man should hear a little music, read a little poetry, and see a fine picture every day of his life, in order that worldly cares may not obliterate the sense of the beautiful which God has implanted in the human soul.”
This blog was created to focus on beautiful, artistic images of the male form to help bring balance to the world of figurative Fine Art, dominated by female imagery.
I strive to choose images that show the history of the genre and bring attention to contemporary artists with a large portion of their portfolios dedicated to the male figure.
I, the "curator," am the author of several books on this topic. Though my publications do NOT include photography or digital imagery, this blog will. It will not however include overtly erotic material as that is well covered in other's blogs.
As author I am always seeking artists of the male figure in traditional media (Painting, drawing, and sculpture) so feel free to send me a message and point me to your work.
